Workshops Join Manufacturers Trade Show in Springfield

Workshop managers from across Missouri were in Branson Feb. 20-21 for the Missouri Association of Manufacturers (MAM) Midwest Manufacturers Trade Show & Conference. Workshops were just setting up to market their business services during the two-day event as these photos were shot by Laura Taylor, Phelps County Industrial Solutions

This marked the second year that workshops have presented their goods and services to state manufacturers. The effort is part of a 2022 memorandum of collaboration involving MASWM, MAM, the Department of Elementary and Secondary Education and the office of Missouri Lt. Gov. Michael Kehoe’s Buy Missouri Program.

All these partners agreed to collaborate in the development of policies and procedures to increase awareness of the capabilities of each organization, and to promote Missouri manufacturing, products, and services. Several workshops received contracts during the first year of the agreement.

Both MAM Executive Director Michael Eaton and Lt.  Gov. Kehoe spoke highly of the Buy Missouri collaboration with workshops in their opening keynote address.
