Washington, Missouri, Workshop Gears Up for Fair


State Rep. Kyle Marquart visited Empac Group in Washington, Mo., during tours of the workshop held during the city’s Town and Country Fair. He also spoke with candidates for the Town and Country Fair Queen contest.

Empac Group in Washington, Mo., is gearing up for the city’s annual Washington Town and Country Fair in August. The fair is one of that community’s major annual events with a range of activities and widespread participation.

During the fair, Empac Group provides tours to the contestants in the fair’s queen contest. They visit with Empac employees and it’s a question who enjoys it more, the girls or the employees!

At last year’s event, Empac Group had even more visitors. Some of the fair board members came and so did local Missouri Representative Kyle Marquart (District 109).
