Boonville Workshop Honored for Recycling Efforts

Boonslick Industries in Boonville has been named the Ripple Glass Recycling Program Of The Year for 2019.

Boonsick Director C.J. Welch said the organization’s Recycling Manager Geoff Shackelford and teh entire recycling team have worked very hard to make this program what it is and be deserving of their award.

Although the award isn’t based upon volume as a whole, Boonslick Industries helped recycle 127 tons of glass products in 2017 and 112 tons of glass in 2018. In the last two years, they have diverted 240 tons of glass from the local landfill!

Ripple officials plan to come to Boonville for a formal announcement in the near future.  Boonslick Industries Recycling Department appreciates the working relationship they have with Ripple Glass and look forward to many more years of helping curb glass material from entering the landfill.
