The time to get all of Missouri's sheltered workshop employees through the required WIOA training is upon us.

MASWM has been talking about this regularly since last July, so everyone should be on board with the urgency of this training. Many of you may have already heard from your contact person with UMC's Hook Center, which started earlier in April. Their staff is working closely with Vocational Rehabilitation and are in the process of contacting each shop to schedule this mandated training.

It is very important that each of our managers cooperate to the fullest extent with these people to insure that all of their employees get the required training. Please remember that you will be required to pay minimum wage to any employee who does not get this mandated training by July 1st, 2017.
