Making the presentations were Katie Jones, executive director of the Missouri Association of Sheltered Workshop Managers, and VSI Executive Director Randy Hylton.

Helps Honor VSI Employees

Vocational Services, Inc., in Liberty and North Kansas City recently held the organization's 2019 annual Length of Service award ceremonies. The program honored nearly 200 workshop employees in Liberty and North Kansas City who have served from three to over 30 years.

Employees like JoAnne Ong were honored for their years of work at one of the three Kansas City-area workshops. JoAnne is celebrating her 21st year with VSI.

The ceremonies were held Thursday, Oct. 24, for employees at the North Kansas City shop and those at VSI’ two Liberty locations were recognized Friday, Oct. 25.

A special guest for the Thursday event was Katie Jones, executive director of the Missouri Association of Sheltered Workshop Managers. She joined VSI Executive Director Randy Hylton presenting the awards.
