Joplin Workshop Continues to Rebuild
And Rebrand After Disastrous 2017 Fire

The Joplin Globe has recently published two articles detailing the efforts of Joplin Workshops Inc. to rebuild following a fire in 2017.

The blaze destroyed the shop’s commercial laundry area and forced the layoff of approximately 50 workers with disabilities.

The situation is especially bittersweet for Executive Director Susan Adams, who has announced her plans to retire.

The two articles can be found here and here.

There’s also a great editorial that was just published here.
