U.S. Senator Blunt Visits Rock Port Workshop

U.S. Senator Roy Blunt recently visited Northwest Missouri Industries for a tour of the workshop that featured dialogue with staff members, state and area officials.

After the November election, shop General Manager Glennette Christian extended invitations to Missouri’s senators. On Jan. 21, Sen. Blunt visited the workshop for a tour. He was joined on the visit by Missouri Representative Allen Andrews (R-1), members of the county SB40 board, Atchison County Presiding Commissioner Curtis Livengood and three members of the NWMIA board.

During his visit, Sen. Blunt asked what he could do for the workshop and Glennette requested his continued support for workshops throughout Missouri and the nation. Sen. Blunt was at the shop for almost two hours and asked many good questions.
